Who are We?

We are a group of people involved in supporting Oxford City Council, as our constitution says;

quot ..to promote the access, positive management and enhancement of the park and its facilities for the benefit of the local community and wider general public. quot

The park is at the northern boundary of the City of Oxford, England. For further information about the area you may wish to have a look at the Wikipedia page for the park.

The Oxford City Council has unveiled plans for leasing land in the park, for the placement of a wind turbine - there's an article in the Oxford Times newspaper

Joining the Friends

We welcome involvement from the wider community in the Friends group - the Parks are a public resource and need public interest and input in order to develop and improve the facility.
